Use this scheduling tool to reserve your spot at one of our facilities.
**Water Aerobics classes will now be reserved using Daxko using the link under Important Updates or through the Front Desk**

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

9/22/2020: REGARDING WATER AEROBICS CLASSES… The new link to register for Water Aerobics classes is HERE. Registration opens the 8:00am the day before the class. Classes in the Lap Pool have a maximum of 15 participants.

9/8/2020: As of 9/8, West Side Cardio equipment will no longer be available for reservation and will be a walk-in basis only. All cardio equipment will be mask-only going forward.

9/1/2020: When making reservations, please make sure that the appointment type and the “staff member” match your needs. For example, for lap swim, choose “Lap Lane 45” as the Appointment and “East, Lap Pool” as the staff member.

8/20/2020: WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH OUR SCHEDULING SYSTEM, WHICH WE ARE WORKING TO RESOLVE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. 8/1/2020: Beginning on Saturday, 8/8, swim lessons will occur on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am-1:15pm and will use half the lap pool. Lanes will still be available for reservation.

HOW DO I RESERVE A SPOT?

  1. Go to https://wallingfordymca.org/reservations/
  2. Scroll down to find the Reservation Self Scheduler.
  3. Enter your first and last name as they appear on your YMCA Membership Account.
  4. Enter your Date of Birth.
  5. Enter your Email Address and Phone Number. Note: This is the email address that will receive your reservation confirmation.
  6. Click Find Me.
  7. Click on the arrow next to the field “Any date”.
  8. Select the date of your choice.
  9. Click on the arrow next to the field “Appointment type”.
  10. Select your Appointment Type. (i.e. Lap Swim, Personal Fit Room, etc).
  11. Scroll down to view available times (you DO NOT need to click “Any staff member”.
  12. Click the arrow next to the field “Available Times”.
  13. Select the time of your choice.
  14. Click BOOK.
  15. Check your email for confirmation.

APPOINTMENT TYPES
Below are a list of areas available for reservation via the Self Scheduler.

Group Fitness Classes
NOTE: Please make sure to BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) for classes where they’re required (Yoga, Cardio+Core, etc.). No spare mats will be available for use at this time. 

Please refer to the Group Class Schedule when reserving a spot. Classes are limited to 9 participants with 1 instructor. Masks will not be required during class as the group fitness room is broken into ten 12-foot squares. 

Personal Fitness Areas 1-6

There are six areas available for reservation in the Functional Fitness Room at West Side. Limited free weights and other fitness equipment is available for use.
These areas are distanced 12ft apart so that members do not need to wear a mask while inside their area.

Personal Fitness Rooms 1 and 2

There are two rooms available for reservation at West Side. These rooms will be held priorty for Personal Training. Each room has a variety of fitness equipment inside and you may pick up weights from the Functional Room as you head in.
These rooms are fully enclosed so that members do not need to wear a mask while inside their room.

Pools
NOTE: Patrons MUST shower at home before getting in the pool.  You may not use the locker-rooms to shower.

Lap lanes are available for reservation at our East Side Facility. Lap swimmers are expected to shower before entering the pool. No shared equipment will be available.
Family and Private Therapy Pool Use if available for reservation.
Water Aerobics classes are available for reservation. 

Cardio Equipment

In our facility, our cardio machines will be “walk-on” members. Masks must be worn on all cardio equipment. Please be aware of shortness of breath and other issues while using cardio equipment with a mask. 

Spin Bikes (Basketball Court)

6 spin bikes are set up in the back half of our basketball court, for reservation only. Bikes are spaced 12 feet apart, so no masks will be required while riding.

1/2 Court Basketball

The Basketball Court is available for 1/2 court use for one individual or two members of the same family. Bring your own ball. Masks are required for use of this area.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a reservation to come to the YMCA?
No, you may still walk in and use the YMCA. Please be aware we have strict capacity limitations and may ask members to wait in line if they don’t have a reservation.

When can I reserve an amenity?
You will be able to reserve an area or space in a group fit class 4 days in advance and 1 hour to that start. Reservations are made on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.

When I click FIND ME, nothing happens. What should I do?
Clear your browsing history and then try again. If that does not work, please contact Sally Darrow, sdarrow@wallingfordymca.org, for assistance with creating a reservation.

Does the reservation system close at any particular time?
Reservations will close one hour prior to start time. After this time, members will no longer be able to make reservations.

What is the duration of each reservation?
Reservations will be for 45 minutes. At the end of your time slot, the staff will clear the area to clean and sanitize before the next group arrives.

How will I know if my spot is reserved?
You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.

Is there a limit as to how many reservations I can make for a day?
We are limiting members to one reservation, per area per day.

Can I reserve spots for someone else (husband, friend, sibling, child, etc)?
Each login has the capability to make only ONE reservation for any amenity per day.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible to allow other members the opportunity to attend the class. To cancel a reservation, sign into our self-scheduler on the website, click on My Appointments and select Cancel next to the reservation you would like to cancel. You can only cancel online up to one hour prior to the start time.

Is there a penalty for making a reservation and not showing up?
We are hopeful that members will be respectful of the need to make reservations. However, should a staff member notice a member abusing the system, they may see the need to have a discussion with him or her. These incidences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
