Reopening Information

STAGE 2:
EXPANDED OPERATIONS
Beginning September 8th

We faced many new and unusual obstacles when we reopened on June 22nd. After a summer of learning how to navigate this new normal, we’ve become proficient in the needs of our community and the safest ways to serve of our members. We are excited to announce our expansion of services as we enter our Stage Two of Reopening the Wallingford Family YMCA.

As we expand operations to Stage 2 of our Reopening Plan,
we have a few changes coming to our current policies:

  • You must wear a mask when using cardio equipment at both branches.
  • Guest passes will be available to Wallingford residents. Only $5 for youth, $10 for adults & $20 for families! Youth under 14 are still required to have a parent or guardian with them to use the facility.
  • At our East Side Branch, all members will use the Girls and Boys Locker Rooms on the first floor. The Men’s & Women’s Locker Rooms are unavailable at this time, as are showers, sauna & steam rooms due to the Governor’s mandates.
