The Wallingford Family YMCA offers more than 100 fitness classes per week, including more than 20 classes just for active older adults.

Traditional Japanese Karate with focus on balance, coordination, endurance and strength. Small class size ensures personalized instruction. All abilities are welcome. Class is for ages 10 and up.
EASY TO LEARN – REALISTIC – PRACTICAL
Krav Maga is one of the best self-defense systems available today. This class provides a great cardio workout while you learn to defend yourself from potential attacks and situations using natural and instinctive responses. Participants train with as much realism as possible and still maintain a high level of safety.
No previous experience is necessary, open to males and females 15 years old and up. You will get a workout in this program. Flexible punch cards allow students to generate their own schedule and come as often as they are able. Mandatory equipment purchase of $65 includes grappling gloves and forearm guards for student safety.
